Two Indiana University roommates, Peter Margulies and Michael Rolland, created Btownmenus.com after spending many nights during their freshman year complaining about how they were sick and tired of ordering from the same restaurants every day. They searched around for different restaurants in Bloomington, but they could never find a resource with all the menus and phone numbers for those locations. They knew there had to be a solution to this problem. The two partners settled on the internet as the solution. They know how important the internet is to college students, and that by setting up an online menu guide, it would cater to everyone within the campus, as well as the town of Bloomington.

Although it took a lot of negotiating, deal making, and hard work to create the site, Peter and Michael knew that ultimately, Btownmenus.com would greatly benefit the students, faculty, and residents of Bloomington
